Still unable to transform into her Miko form, Marin seeks Kanon’s help, trying to understand why someone with a ‘dark’ heart like her is still able to transform when one as ‘pure’ as herself can not. In order to help her clear her mind, Kanon gets the help of one of her friends in doing various activities with Marin, such as yoga.
What the episode is mostly concerned with, however, is Kojima and Kanon’s feelings for each-other and how they came to be in a relationship.  As Kanon ponders the past (her feelings for Kojima) and the present (her growing feelings for Marin), she realizes that she has to come to a decision once and for all, instead of leaving both Kojima and Ooshima hanging. However, before she can announce her decision to Kojima, two new enemies appear and try to kill him.

lol

Kanon failing at yoga was one of the most amusing parts of the episode for me.

Aaaaaaaah little Kanon! 3 Again!

Insights into Kojimas personality reveals that he is something of a loveable dork.

Earlier I said that I was hoping this ‘o noes Urin went evil’ arc would wrap up and that there would be time for another one, but now it seems pretty evident that this -is- the major arc and will continue into the series climax; since there are only 3 more episodes to go after all. This episode at least didn’t feel like it was still dwelling on things too much; in fact it did something I didn’t expect it to and was hoping for – perhaps considering that it was a false hope. That’s right. Kojima grew a personality. (shock horror!) Well, to say he ‘grew’ one isn’t necessarily correct as it’s visible only in the flashbacks about him and Kanon. He seems to be a rather absent-minded yet kind person, and full of smiles. Not the most terribly exciting personality, but hey, it’s something. This makes me realize that his incredible vacant-ness he expresses in the ‘present’ may be more due to being depressed about Kanon, something I was secretly hoping all along.  I cant quite say how predictable the two getting back together again would be, though (perhaps a little) due to the yuri spanner that got thrown into the works. Kanon’s girlcrush on Marin seemed pretty evident here – perhaps it was just me, but it seemed a lot stronger than the normal ‘admiration’ it seemed to be before (and the load of yuri-service in this episode probably  helped that as well). That, and she uses the same word (suki) to describe her feelings for both Kojima and Marin (in her head, at least) instead of further differentiating between the two. I’m naturally interested to see where this is headed.

I have no idea exactly what he added to it.

What can I say, I try to cap every time Kanon blushes adorably.

AHOGE LASOOES - something that is just so incredibly stupid that its awesome. That said, these villains look cool at least.

Still not a lot is happening in the way of plot advancement, but I’m glad they took that opportunity to flesh the characters out some more. I’m also glad that Marin can finally stop being emo – at least I hope so, anyway. Out of 5,
