Show By Rock!! Episode 9

Unfortunately this is the last Show By Rock!! episode I’m able to blog, since I’m going to America for two months and thus won’t be able to do the last three. Which is a huge shame because a)I’m really enjoying the show and would love to blog it to the end and b) the end of this episode is….well. That’s what this review’s for!

I still do want to blog the rest; but it will probably have to be a batch review after I return…a month after it finishes, unfortunately, although I won’t be able to blog anything next season for the same reason. (unless I -also- do a batch review for the first 3-4 episodes – I can watch stuff on my ipad during downtime after all) I’m working on a draft of another doll review so I can finish writing it at the airport, but after that there most likely wont be any posts from me until August.

Ariana and Skins will be taking care of First Impressions and may not be able to cover everything but we’ll see. If I manage to watch any of the new stuff, I’ll still be leaving my opinions in the comments of their reviews as usual.

Lastly…if any Australian readers are going to SMASH in Sydney this August 8-9, I’ll be in the artist alley as TorinoArt! Come and say hello.

Announcement: I regret to announce that we’re going to have to drop our coverage of Fate/Stay Night – Unlimited Blade Works Season 2. This isn’t regarding the quality of the show itself (it actually did improve from its first episode), but the timing. Both me and Junko will be far too busy in the next two months and I did actually consider dropping Show By Rock!! as well, but I’ll continue it for as long as I can cos it’s fun and relatively easy to write about.
As for why I’m busy – firstly, I just found out I’ve been accepted to work at a camp in the USA for about 2 months, which is going to take a lot of preparation. It runs from early June to late July – and then, not long after I return is Sydney’s SMASH convention which I’ll hopefully be tabling at again in the artist circle. If so, I’m going to need to get all my preparation for that done before I leave for the US, which will make me busier still. So again, apologies to anybody who was looking forward to or enjoyed the coverage of this show – I’m still going to watch it, and might do some kind of writeup about it when I return.
Obviously this also affects the First Impressions for the season that begins in July. Since Junko will also be absent (working at the same camp I will be, actually, as well as preparing to move to Japan in late July) it’ll be up to Skins and Ariana, and how much they’re willing/able to review is entirely up to them. I would apologize for what will likely be a drop in blog content but hey, this blog has always been a hobby, never a job or an obligation, and it will never take priority over such things.

Anyway, back to my cute animal girls.

In the end I couldn’t resist these adorable characters. …Plus in the space between me seeing episode 1 and now I’ve successfully gotten the game running on my phone and am now addicted. This may be a 24 minute multi-episode commercial for a game, but hey, it worked.

A First Impression: Show By Rock!! Episode 1

A heads up – I have to review the first episode of season 2 of Fate/Stay Night, but I can’t guarantee when I’ll get it done. In the mean time, have some adorable animals.
